Recipe: German Pancakes

German pancakes are on of those morning meals we think of and make every now and then. It's quick to fix up and its soft spongy texture is heavenly.

Here's the recipe:


German Pancakes

8 hormone and cage free eggs
1 1/4 cup raw milk
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 cup, sifted, whole wheat flour
3 Tbsps butter

1. Turn on oven to 400°.

2. Place butter in 9"x11" baking pan and place into preheating oven. Leave it in there until just melted (a 3-5 minutes)

3. Sift flour into bowl.

4. Add rest of the ingredients in the bowl containing flour and mix with a hand mixer or in a mixer.

5. Pull out dish and pour wet mixture into dish.

6. Bake for 18-20 minutes.

Top with a small drizzle of maple syrup, a drizzle of a berry sauce or top with fruits.
