Step Two Nourish: Add Healthy Foods

The second step, intermingling with the first, was adding better foods to our diet. It took a while for me to find my balance and to collect recipes that I wanted to use. But it felt so good to find that rhythm and to become comfortable with a different way of living.

Here are things we added to our diet and still use either on a daily basis or a not-quite-every-day basis:

Green Smoothies
Vegetable juice
Home-made yogurt
Brown rice
Fluoride free natural toothpaste
Aluminum free deodorant
Filtered water
Cage-free, hormone-free eggs
Raw milk
Raw butter
Coconut Oil
Grapeseed Oil
Olive oil
Freshly ground wheat
Herbal Teas and other herbal uses
Sea salt
Vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds as snacks
and other home-made snacks
Water only for drinking (besides real concord grape juice we harvest during the fall and except for the juice at grandma's house two sunday's a month.)

Here are the things we eliminated.
