Extra: To-do's for Sickness

Here are some steps we take when dealing with sickness:

a) Take 15-20 drops of an echinacea-goldenseal tincture, mixed in a small glass of water 4 times a day until symptoms go away and half that amount for a few days after that. (For children, use 5-10 drops in water.)

b) Make sure to drink the Vitamin Rich Tea throughout the day.

c) Eat mostly raw foods.

d) Eat 2 or more grapefruits per day.

e) Place a high quality Tea Tree Oil (like Young Living's, doTerra's or Butterfly Express) on feet and tonsil/gland areas on neck, morning and night.

f) Take buffered Vitamin C with flavonoids. (1000 to 2000 mg.'s for children and up to 6000 for adults.)

g) For coughs: Place a breathe essential oil blend such as doTerra's Breathe, or Young Living's Raven or R.C., or Butterfly Express' Breezey on the chest, back and feet a few times a day or more depending on how severe the cough is.

h) Take pro-biotic pills (acidophilus or mutlidophilus pills) and eat more pro-biotic rich foods such as sauerkraut or kefir.

i) Eat bone broth if upset stomach is present.

j) Allow fever to do it's thing if a fever is present - seeking medical help is a good idea if the fever gets too high (104° or above).

k) Diffuse an essential oil blend such as doTerra's OnGuard or Young Living's Thieves with a diffuser throughout the day and especially in the room of the person that is sick during the night.

l) Rest as much as possible.

m) For adults: take cayenne pills (1-3 per day) and chopped fresh garlic cloves, 3 per day.

We don't always take all of these steps when a virus or bacteria is present but time and time again these are the steps we return to most often. These steps rid the body of any bacterial or viral intrusion, boosts the immune system, alkalizes the body, helps to create electron rich cells, and provides our body with the vitamins and minerals we need in order to fight this invasion off.

It's a good idea to continue doing these steps, for a few days, even after all symptoms have subsided.
