Recipe: Chocolate Covered Fruit Popsicles

Chocolate covered fruity popsicles - so good!

Disclaimer: I used Nutella in this recipe. I know, I know, the ingredients aren't all that fabulous in the Nutella but, seeing as how it uses sugar (instead of HFCS), palm oil and hazelnuts they're not all that horrific either.

Here's the recipe:

Chocolate Covered Fruit Popsicles
(makes enough for 6-8 skinny popsicles)

Fruit Popsicles (use your favorite smoothie recipe)
3 Tbsp Nutella spread
2 Tbsp Coconut Oil, melted

Mix melted coconut oil and Nutella spread together in a medium sized cup. Tip the cup so that the chocolate is almost running out of the cup. Lay your popsicle into the chocolate dip and turn the popsicle until its fully coated.

The chocolate will harden within a minute and be just right for immediate eating. Or freeze the chocolate covered popsicles and save for another time.

The ingredients we used for these popsicles are as follows:

1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup (+) raw apple juice
(blend those two together until smooth)
Add:
1/2 cup sliced pineapple
1 cup yogurt
handful of strawberries
handful of blackberries
2 bananas
