Recipe: Peach Syrup

This is a recipe we use most often (aside from pure maple syrup) for our pancakes or waffles. It's perfectly sweet and tangy and makes us want to lick our plates clean.

Here's the recipe:

Peach Syrup

3 cups Thawed or fresh (ripe) peaches
1-2 Tbsp sucanat (optional)
1/4 tsp salt

Blend ingredients together (either with a hand blender or upright blender - whatever works).

Blending up berries like raspberries and blackberries or just strawberries with a little water added to it makes an incredible sauce as well. Sometimes we sweeten it with sugar - other times we don't.
