Recipe: Banana Cinnamon Quinoa

Quinoa has such a mild nutty flavor (not to mention it's so wonderfully nutritious) that it can be used for any meal of the day.

We usually eat this recipe in the morning.

Banana Cinnamon Quinoa

2-3 cups quinoa (thoroughly rinsed in strainer)
filtered water
Raw or organic butter
Sea salt
Cinnaomon
Ripe banana
Raw milk
Raw organic agave or raw honey

Step 1: Rinse the quinoa. Place quinoa in a (glass) bowl. Fill bowl up with water. Let soak overnight.

Step2: Your quinoa has now slightly sprouted. Rinse quinoa again. Place in pot. Cover quinoa with water. Add 2 tsbsp. butter and a sprinkle of sea salt. Bring to boil. Reduce to a simmer. Place lid on pot. Let simmer for 15-20 minutes. Add more water if needed so the quinoa doesn't burn.

Let sit and cool down in pot for some time. Cut up bananas into small pieces. Place desired amount of quinoa in bowl, sprinkle with cinnamon, toss in bananas, stir it up if you want to, pour in some milk and add desired amount of agave or honey.

Delicious and (most importantly) nutritious!
