Recipe: Brown Rice and Vegetables

Here's a quick, delicious and healthy meal:

Brown Rice and Vegetables

Cook 3-4 cups of brown rice.

Chop up a mixture of vegetables. You can chop them up in a food processor to make it go faster or chop them up by hand.

I used:

Yellow Squash
Red Cabbage
Onion
Garlic
Broccoli
Celery

Steam them by placing 1/2 inch of water in a pan. Place the veggies in the pan. Get the water boiling. Place a lid on top and steam at a lower temp. for about 8 minutes.

Add steamed veggies to cooked brown rice.

Mix in:

4 Tbsp olive oil or coconut oil or flax oil or butter
1 Tbsp paprika
Few dashes of pepper
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder

Mix together and serve.
