Recipe: Hearty Mixed Salad w/ Homemade Ranch Dressing

I never knew mixing so many wonderful veggies could make such a delicious salad ... and why didn't I ever know that not only does a delicious homemade ranch dressing exist out there but that it can be healthy too?

Here's the Mixed Salad recipe:

Spring Lettuce mix (or a mix of whatever lettuce/leaves)
Iceberg lettuce
Red Cabbage
Carrots
Celery
Broccoli
Avocado
Sunflower Seeds
Shredded (Raw) Cheese
One boiled egg, chopped

Chop up the broccoli, celery, carrots, avocado, red cabbage and egg. Mix together however much of each you'd like.

Pour some homemade ranch dressing over the top and enjoy a splendid salad!

Ranch Dressing Recipe:

1 1/2 cup Buttermilk (raw, if possible)
1/2 tsp Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tbsp Parsley flakes
1/2 Tbsp dried Dill Weed
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt

Mix all the ingredients together. Create a ranch dressing that suits your needs by playing with the dry ingredients.

Let sit for 30 minutes. Keeps for 2 to 4 weeks in fridge.
