Recipe: Pesto Pizza

Mmmm, how I love pizza! I recently came across a pesto pizza variation that caught my eye and produced a spectacular pizza surprise!

Here's the simple recipe:



Pesto Pizza

Pesto
Pizza crust
Tomatoes
Mozzerella cheese slices

Simply make your pizza crust:
(this makes enough dough for one whole baking sheet or enough for about 6 small pizzas)

4 cups ground sprouted wheat flour
2 cups warm water
2 Tbsps yeast
4 Tbsps olive oil
3 tbsps agave
2 tsps sea salt

Preheat oven to 350°. Place water and yeast in mixing bowl. Mix together. Add rest of ingredients. Add more flour if dough is too wet. Oil bottom of baking sheet. Roll out dough, place on baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.


Take pizza dough out of oven after those 10 minutes are up. Spread the pesto onto the dough. Next layer the tomatoes onto the pesto and lastly layer the sliced mozzerella on top.

Bake for another 11-12 minutes and it's done!
