Recipe: Strawberry Pancake Sauce

I was really bothered by the overly sweet sweeteners we generously and greedily spill over the top of our pancakes.

So I came up with a tastier, healthier and less sweet (but still sweet enough) pancake topper.

Strawberry Syrup

2-3 cups fresh strawberries
(you can use frozen strawberries but fresh seem to taste the best)
1/4 cup water
3-4 Tbsp. sucanat or honey

Mix up in blender until perfectly smooth.

Pour over pancakes.
