Here's our much used granola/cereal concoction:
Cereal ingredients are:
2 cups almonds (soaked and dehydrated)
1 cup sunflower seeds (soaked and dehydrated)
1/2 cup coconut flakes
1/8 cup raisins
5 T. brown or golden flax seed meal
(use coffee grinder)
1 tsp alcohol free vanilla
Process/blend almonds until they break up. Add rest of ingredients and blend or process until you get the texture you want.
So why the "soaked and dried" method?
Our digestive systems aren't functioning properly meaning that we don't assimilate or absorb foods as we should/could. Soaking and drying the nuts and seeds makes it easier to for our digestive to break down and use these incredible foods.
